Course Introduction:Viruses and viral diseases have been at the center of science, agriculture, and medicine for millennia, and some of our greatest challenges and triumphs have involved virology. About 75% of human infectious diseases are caused by viruses and the onset of some autoimmune diseases and tumors is also related to viruses. The course will include didactic lectures on the current state of knowledge in human and animal virology, and will also focus on teaching students how to read, critique and present
Testing Method:Grading will be based upon oral presentation (Presentation of a research paper ,30%), written assignment (paper critiques,60％), and class participation (10%). open-book examination , literature review
