Kun Song is a full professor of Architecture at the School of Architecture, Tianjin University P.R.C, where he is now the vice dean of the faculty. Meanwhile, he is the director of Tianjin Ecological Engineering Center of Urban Renewal.His research interests are Urban and residential community renewal, Sustainable Community in the North Area of China, Green building and assessment system, the Chinese modern architectural heritage, living environment and inhabitant form, and architectural education. He has hosted or participated in 9 scientific research projects above the provincial levels, accomplished 25 academic monographs, and published 103 papers in the national academic journals. For promoting academic communication, he also hosted 6 international conferences, and conducted 3 international conferences.
