Chengjuan Yang holes B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Xi'an Jiaotong University. From 2009.12 to 2011.9, she was funded to do her research at Purdue University as a visiting student by the scholarship award from China Scholarship Council (CSC), where she focused on MD simulation studies of femtosecond laser-induced phase and structural changes in silicon. In 2013, she joined Tianjin university as a postdoctor to study the micro-/nano- manufacturing technology of functional surface by laser texturing. Currently, Dr. Yang is a lecturer of the school of Mechanical Engineering in Tianjin Unversity and she is working on wettability modification of hard and brittle material by laser texturing and surface coating with low surface energy material. Her academic interests includes laser micro-/nano- manufacturing technology, functional surface, as well as wettability model.
