Dong Yang obtained a Ph.D. at the Northeast Forestry University in 2001 under the guidance of Prof. Lijia An. After a stint with Prof. Limin Qi as a Postdoctoral at Peking University, he joined the faculty of Tianjin University in 2004, where he is currently an associate professor in biochemical engineering. His research interests encompass functional nanomaterials, photocatalysis, membranes and membrane processes. Untill now, he has coauthored more than 70 SCI papers, with a total citation time of over 2400 and h-index of 26.
