Dr. Yan Yin is an associate professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Tianjin University, China. She received her Ph.D. in 2003 in Symbiotic Environmental Systems Engineering from Yamaguchi University, Japan. She is working at the State Key Laboratory of Engines and has a wide range of research interests, including polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells, membrane separation and energy systems. Dr. Yin has published more than 50 papers in international Journals with 1500 citations and has a H-index of 18. Her research is both fundamental and applied, involving the structure-morphology-property relationships of materials and fuel cell performances. Yin’s current research interests include developing new ionic membranes for fuel cells and transfer mechanism understanding.
