I got my PhD degree in neurophysiology in 2013 from Nankai University. Since then I worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the center for learning and memory in the University of Texas at Austin for 5 years. I become a professor in Department of Biomedical Engineering and Academy of Medical Engineering and Translational Medicine in Tianjin University since September 2018. I am the director of Tianjin Brain Engineering Research Center and the deputy director of Tianjin Key Laboratory of Brain Science and Neural Engineering. I was selected into the “BeiYang Talents Plan” of Tianjin university. I am also a member of the Society of Neuroscience and the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering.
