Pro.Luo's research interests within civil engineering are focused towards high-performance and innovative structural components and systems to increase the resiliency of constructions in the face of environmental hazards as well as earthquake disasters. My research experience consists of a wide-range of multi-scale analytical and large-scale experimental studies with emphasis on structural behavior of structures and component using high performance fiber reinforced polymer and cementitious composite material.
