Dr. Wu received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Wuhan University in 2009 and 2014, respectively. After working at Zhengzhou University for a short period of time, he went to the National University of Singapore in 2015 for postdoctoral research in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering & Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. In 2020, he joined the Institute of Molecular Aggregation Science of Tianjin University as a full professor. To date, he has published more than 100 papers in international famous journals on chemistry and materials, such as Natl. Sci. Rev., Chem, Matter, Adv. Mater., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. etc. The papers have been cited more than 4000 times.
His research interests are the design, synthesis and application of organic/polymer optical functional materials. The current idea is to design high performance materials by precise adjusting the molecular structure and explore their application as biomedical materials or optoelectronic functional materials.
