Brief Introduction

My research interests lie primarily in geochemistry of deeply-sourced volatiles from tectonically and volcanically active regions of different tectonic settings, such as the Tibetan Plateau and the intra-continental Northeast Asia. I am currently working on the following topics: (i) flux and origin of geological CO2 emissions, (ii) Earth degassing responses to deep dynamic processes, and (iii) the implications of fluid geochemistry for volcanic monitoring and earthquake nucleation.
