个人简介
Dachao Li received his B.S. degree in Precision Instruments from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 1998 and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in precision instruments and mechanics from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 2001 and 2004, respectively. He was previously a research associate at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, USA. Currently, he is a professor in the School of Precision Instrument & Opto-Electronics Engineering, Tianjin University. And he also serves as the Deputy Director of the Department of Human Resources in Tianjin University since September, 2017.
His research interests focus on the fields of microfluidics, flexible sensor, additive micromanufacturing, microsystem technology, nanoengineering and biomedical detection. He established the Laboratory of Microfluidics and Biosensing at Tianjin University after returned from the USA in 2008, and has gradually built a lab facility valued at more than five million Chinese RMB since then. He has served as principle investigators in 19 national and provincial grants with overall funding that has exceeded six million Chinese RMB. Up to date, he has published 75 papers, including 39 journal papers (25 international journal papers in English and 14 domestic journal papers in Chinese) and 36 international conference papers (in English), co-authored 4 books (3 books in Chinese and 1 book in English), and applied 22 invention patents including 17 issued patents (15 patents in China, 1 patent in USA and 1 patent in Japan).
