I received my Ph.D. degree from the Artificial Intelligence Lab, School of Computer Science and Technology, Tianjin University, on June 2005. During the Ph.D. candidate period, I focused on natural language processing and information retrieval. I joined in Tianjin University on April, 2005. Supported by NSFC, I visited School of Science and Engineering, Dundee University from October 2016 to April 2017, and studied big data mining under the supervision of Professor Ping Lin. My current research interest focuses on the theories, methods and applications of social computing, aiming to study and explain the social problems and phenomena through the processing and mining of large-scale social media data, and then propose some useful information for management decision-making.
