Chen Hong, who has been working at the school of international education at the Tianjin University since July 2000, is currently an associate professor. Her main research interests include phonetics and Chinese as a second language teaching and research. She received a master's degree in literature from the College of Chinese language and Culture, Nankai University in June 2000 and a doctorate in literature from the Chinese Language Department, School of Literature of Nankai University in June 2009. From November 2015 to November 2016, she was a visiting scholar at University of Queensland in australia. Since 2000, she has been teaching Chinese as a second language and has been teaching for 17 years and published a number of academic papers in the periodical of language teaching and research, national language, Journal of Tianjin University (social science edition) and other publications.
