Chao Jin, Professor at the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Tianjin University. Her long-term research focuses on three core directions: the design and preparation of carbon-neutral fuels, combustion emission control, and the comprehensive utilization of carbon dioxide removal (CDR) technologies.

She has published over 100 SCI papers in high-profile journals including Nature Reviews Clean Technology, Nature Communications, Environmental Science & Technology (EST), Carbon, and Process Safety and Environmental Protection (PCI). The highest citation count for a single paper exceeds 700, and has been continuously listed in the Stanford University Top 2% Global Scientists Ranking. Her research achievements have been reported and reprinted by more than 20 media outlets such as Science and Technology Daily, Xinhua News Agency, and Tianjin Daily.

In the past five years, she has presided over national-level research projects with a total funding of nearly ten million RMB, including key special projects of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Integrated Development Program, key joint fund projects, General Program projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and projects funded by the Military Science and Technology Commission. She has also completed technology transformation projects worth over ten million RMB.

Professor Jin serves as an editorial board member for domestic and international journals, including Combustion and Emission Control, Thermal Science and Engineering, and Journal of Zhejiang University. She has participated in formulating 1 national standard and led the issuance of 1 group standard. Additionally, she has co-edited one textbook included in the 14th Five-Year Plan textbook series for the construction of Double First-Class universities.
