Brief Introduction

My research interests in chemical engineering lies in two aspects: 1) the research & development of hydraulic energy recovery device (ERD), one of the key apparatus for dramatically reducing the power consumption of seawater reverse osmosis desalination (SWRO) system; 2) the fundamental understanding of capacitive deionization (CDI), a novel environmental friendly desalination technology that has attracted more attentions due to its significant advantages such as low operating energy demand, high ion removal efficiency, and high water conversion rate. Until now, I have published about fifty peer-reviewed journals such as Electrochimica Acta, Desalination, Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research, etc.
