The seminars at the forum covered numerous fields including the design and synthesis of vaccines, geographical microbiological mining, synthesis of natural products, and the accurate simulation of metabolic networks. "Synthetic Biology Entered 2.0 from 1.0” based on DNA synthetic technology, the standardization of a component library, design, layering and synthesis of artificial genomes, and construction strategies for the artificial synthetic systems that were put forward by Tianjin University’s experts and recognized by the delegates. The standardized component library established by Tianjin University attracted widespread attention by the delegates. This database stores over 6,000 standardized functional components and modules, and is shared globally by academics.
