Brief Introduction

Dr. Yang Shaohui received her Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Nankai University in 2005, and then joined the School of Environmental Science and Engineering at Tianjin University, where she is currently an Associate Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, and Master's Supervisor. She has completed five research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the Tianjin Natural Science Foundation, and a sub‑project of the Major National Program for Transgenic Organism Breeding, and has participated in more than ten projects, including the National 973 Program, the National 863 Program, and other NSFC projects. Currently, she is leading one NSFC project (2023–2026) and one industry‑university collaboration project (2026‑2‑30). Her enrollment specialties include Environmental Science (Academic Master's), Resources and Environment (Professional Master's), and Genetics (Academic Master's). Many of her supervised master's students have received First‑Class Academic Scholarships. Prospective students recommended for exemption or those taking the national postgraduate entrance examination are welcome to join her research group.

  • Plant/microbe stress responses to heavy metals, pesticides, and antibiotics with gene mining; bioremediation of contaminated sites; and pollutant biotransformation for resource recovery.
