张林,教授,博士生导师。获清华大学学士和硕士学位,美国南加州大学博士学位,在美国麻省理工学院开展博士后研究。研究方向包括光通信与光互连、芯片集成智能感知、超轻薄成像与光场调控、光神经网络与智能光计算、片上量子光学子系统、集成非线性光学与宽带光源等。发表高水平期刊和国际会议文章320余篇,H-index为39,邀请文章和报告55篇,授权发明专利超过20项。于2015年入选国家海外高层次人才引进计划(青年项目),2023年入选中组部“万人计划”科技创新领军人才,2024年获聘天津大学讲席教授(二级),主持多项纵向和横向科研项目。张林教授是中国光学工程学会高级会员、美国光学学会(Optica)高级会员、IEEE和SPIE会员,任IEEE/Optica Journal of Lightwave Technology和IEEE Photonics Journal编委。
